NGC 2070 Area in Hydrogen Alpha by John Glossop

Takahashi Sky 90 refractor, fitted with a Takahashi Reducer/Flattener and operating at f/4.5 or a focal length of 407mm, SBIG ST2000XM CCD camera fitted with CFW-8 filter wheel and using an Astronomiks 12Nm, Hydrogen Alpha (Ha) filter.  Combined in CCDStack and finished in PhotoShop CS5.

NGC 1935 (also known as IC 2126) is a small HII region in the LMC. Image was taken over 2 nights with a full moon. Field size is 67.67 x 47.12 arcminutes

Henize 206 / NGC 2018 by James McHugh


Henize 206, a star forming region, and open cluster NGC 2018 in the Large Magellanic Cloud. The smaller cluster below and slightly left of centre is NGC 2031. Taken over 3 nights. Distance is about 163,000 light-years. Field of view 72.20 x 48.48 arcminutes, 1.14 arcsec/pixel
