The Small Magellanic Cloud

Observing and Charts This section contains charts of the Small Magellanic Cloud and some suggestions for observing and some highlights. There are 107 deep sky objects marked that are observable in amateur telescopes

Observing Tours I have compiled notes for guided observing of areas of the SMC - one for the Northeast area and one for the Northwest.

Notes & DSS images Contains my own observation notes on Small Magellanic Cloud objects, links to other's notes and Digitized Sky Survey images of each object obtained through Space Telescope Science Institute This section under construction

Other images Contains mainly images by amateur astronomers and some from institutions.
